Toronto Argonauts News Release
Toronto - The Toronto Argonauts and The Argos Foundation announced a partnership with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and the Toronto Foundation for Student Success on a new program entitled Level The Playing Field, sponsored by Tim Hortons. In its inaugural year, the program helped return football teams to four Toronto-area high schools with a $10,000 donation to each school. The four high school football teams, North Albion Collegiate, C.W. Jefferys Collegiate, Eastern Commerce and Lester B. Pearson, all play in the TDSB Varsity Development Tier 2 League. In an effort to help build and promote high school football, the Argos will send out weekly updates on the teams in this league throughout the high school football season.
