
Riders Add Two More To The Practice Roster

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced the signings of non-import kicker Ryan Elaschuk and import defensive end Willie Evans to the practice roster.
Elaschuk (5'10 - 215) spent five seasons kicking and punting for the Edmonton Wildcats junior team. The 23-year old was named to the all-conference team as a kicker in 2005, 2006 and 2008 and was an all-Canadian in 2008.
Evans (6'1 - 270) spent the past four years on the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints and New York Giants practice rosters. Prior to joining the NFL, Evans was a standout at Mississippi State where he recorded 219 tackles, 24.5 quarterback sacks and 48 tackles for a loss in 46 games.
