Ottawa 67's News Release

(Ottawa, ON.): The Ottawa 67's added some size and strength to their roster last weekend, acquiring forward Peter Stevens from the Barrie Colts for a 5th round draft pick. The 6'3", 210 pound right winger made his debut in the 67's game against Oshawa on Sunday.

"Peter is a hard-nosed player who plays with an edge," said Head Coach, Chris Byrne. "He'll add some size and grit to our forwards, and he'll provide leadership in our dressing room, on and off the ice."

20-year old Stevens is in his 4h OHL season. He played two full seasons with the Kingston Frontenacs before being acquired by the Colts at the trade deadline last season. In 196 OHL games, Stevens has recorded 4 goals, 14 assists and 404 penalty minutes.
