
Mavericks to Host "Mavs Got Talent" Auditions

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks announced Thursday the Central Hockey League (CHL) team will host auditions for various in-game entertainment acts on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Sheraton Kansas City Sports Complex. The event will last from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with separate auditions scheduled throughout the day.

Location: Sheraton KC Sports Complex - Grand Room A
Time: 11 AM - 6 PM
Auditions will be held for those interested in positions of public address announcer, in-game host/MC, mascot, promotional team, nightly National Anthem singers, and other general entertainment acts. Each position has a reserved time-slot, and to audition for a specific position - registration is required by September 25, 2009. There will also be an open audition opportunity for unregistered participants and other general entertainment acts from 3:30-6 PM.
The schedule for auditions is as follows:
11 a.m. - 1 p.m.: Public Address Announcer or in-game host/MC
1 p.m. - 2 p.m.: Mascot
2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.: National Anthem
3:30 PM - 6 p.m.: Promo Team, Other entertainment acts and general auditions for unregistered participants
