HUNTSVILLE, AL - The Huntsville Havoc released their 2009-10 28-game Southern Professional Hockey League home schedule today, highlighted by 19 weekend games, plus the traditional Thanksgiving Night game.

The 2009-10 season will open on the road at Fayetteville on Thursday, October 22nd. The Havoc will stay on the road for back-to-back game at Knoxville on October 23rd and 24th before opening the home schedule on Friday, October 30th against the Fayetteville FireAntz.

The Havoc will once again play an unbalanced league schedule, with five home games against Columbus and Knoxville and four against Fayetteville. The Havoc will face SPHL newcomers Mississippi and Pensacola four times each, while hosting Louisiana six times, all on CenturyTel Ice at the Von Braun Center.

In total, the Havoc will play 10 home games on Saturday, nine on Friday, five on Thursday, two on Sunday and one each on Monday and Tuesday. All non-weekend dates will be "Hockey Night in Huntsville" presented by Bill Penney Toyota/Mitsubishi where fans can enjoy $2.00 beers and $1.00 hot dogs and sodas.
