
Missions Place RHP Rolando Valdez on Seven-Day Disabled List

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Missions announced today that right-handed pitcher Rolando Valdez has been placed on the seven-day disabled list with a fractured right fibula. He has not pitched since July 13.
Valdez, 23, has gone 1-0 with a 5.01 ERA in 17 relief appearances with the Missions this season. He joins outfielder Kellen Kulbacki, left-handed pitcher Philip Barzilla and left-handed pitcher Cory Luebke on the disabled list. Luebke was placed on the DL last night, retroactive to July 13.
The Missions active roster stands at 22 players.
