SIX & SIX: Tulsa and Springfield have split their 12 previous meetings at Drillers Stadium this season.

IT'S GOOD TO BE HOME: On the season, the Drillers are hitting eight points better at home than on the road - a .264 average at Drillers Stadium compared to .256 on the road. Tulsa pitchers have also fared better at home, posting a 3.59 ERA at home compared to a 4.01 mark on the road.

HOLCOMB STREAK: Third baseman Darin Holcomb is putting up impressive numbers during the month of July. In his first 11 games this month, Holcomb had a .405 batting average. Nine of 17 hits in July have been for extra bases and four of his seven home runs this season have come during this month.

PERFECT MARK: Through July 15, the Drillers were a perfect 40-0 this season when they were leading entering the ninth inning.

WHO NEEDS THE DH? Since both the Drillers and Cardinals are affiliated with National League teams, the designated hitter is not used when the two teams meet. Tulsa pitchers have batted a combined .286 (10-35) in 20 previous meetings with Springfield this season, with Keith Weiser pacing the hurlers with three hits. In comparison, the Drillers position players are hitting only .247 against the Redbirds.

GOT THE TIME? Nine-inning games at Drillers Stadium have average 2 hours and 43 minutes to complete this season. Of the other seven Texas League teams, only Corpus Christi (2:41) has averaged a quicker time for its home games.
