
Wendy's Tiger Fridays Continues With Rick Leach

COMSTOCK PARK, MI -Former Tiger and University of Michigan quarterback Rick Leach will be on hand at Fifth Third Ballpark during West Michigan's 7:00 p.m. game against South Bend on Friday, June 12 as the Whitecaps continue their Wendy's Tiger Fridays series.
The first 1,000 fans will receive a one-of-a-kind Rick Leach bobblehead. The bobblehead features Leach in his Tigers uniform and a University of Michigan football helmet. He will be available to sign autographs and meet with fans during the game.
Leach played 10 Major League seasons with the Tigers, Blue Jays, Rangers and Giants. Leach was also an All-American quarterback at the University of Michigan. Upon his departure from Michigan, Leach held all the Wolverines' career passing records including yards, completions and touchdowns.
Other Wendy's Tiger Fridays dates include June 26 with Dave Bergman, July 17 with John Wockenfuss, July 31 with Matt Nokes and August 28 with Willie Hernandez, Dan Petry and Milt Wilcox.
The Whitecaps begin an eight-game homestand Wednesday, June 10 against the South Bend Silver Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Individual and group tickets are on sale and can be purchased at the West Michigan Glass Block Ticket Office at Fifth Third Ballpark, by calling the Whitecaps front office at 616-784-4131 or by visiting www.whitecapsbaseball.com.
