St. Lucie Mets News Release
Port St. Lucie, FL - The scheduled Florida State League game between the St. Lucie Mets and the Brevard County Manatees at Tradition Field has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions. The games will not be made up.
The Mets host the Clearwater Threshers in a four game series beginning Saturday at Tradition Field. Game time is 6:00PM and the gates open at 4:00PM. It's 70's night. Any fan that shows up dressed in 70's attire receives admission for only 70 cents and from 4 until 6 there will be a pre-game disco party and 70 cent draught beers at the Island Girl Tiki Bar. It's also Guaranteed Win Night. If the Mets win, all fans in attendance will receive a free ticket to Sunday's game.
