
Oil Kings Host 2009 Western Hockey League Awards Luncheon

EDMONTON, AB- The Edmonton Oil Kings are proud hosts of the Western Hockey League's 2008-09 Awards Luncheon on Wednesday April 29th at the Northlands Agricom.
This will be the first year this Luncheon event and the Bantam Draft have been held outside of Calgary in over 10 years.
Help us recognize some of the WHL's current stars and future stars of the National Hockey League.
There will be 12 prestigious awards handed out, including WHL Player of the Year (Four Broncos Memorial Trophy), WHL Rookie of the Year (Jim Piggott Memorial Trophy) and the Defenceman of the Year (Bill Hunter Memorial Trophy).
All media attending the Awards luncheon will be granted a media availability to speak with award recipients. Stay tuned for more details involving media opportunities.
