InterLiga 2009 tickets on sale now

FRISCO, TX (Monday, December 8, 2008) - Tickets for both InterLiga™ 2009 doubleheaders at Pizza Hut Park, on January 2 and 6, are now on sale through an exclusive pre-sale for Visa card members at ticketmaster.com.

Tickets for Group A matches Jan. 2 games, which feature Monterrey vs. Pumas and Cruz Azul vs. Tecos are $20 for general admission seating, and $40 for the three Midfield Club West sections (105,106, 107). Tickets for the doubleheader on Tuesday, Jan. 6, featuring Group B teams Club America vs. Toluca and Chivas vs. Atlas will be reserve seating only, with tickets costing $20, $35, and $50. A limited number of Club Loge tickets are available for either match day for $75.

FC Dallas season ticket holders can also purchase tickets starting today to either doubleheader and receive a $10 discount on regular prices for either match day by contacting the FC Dallas front office at 888-FCD-GOAL (888-323-4625).

Tickets for all fans will be available starting on Monday, Dec. 15 at 10 am CT.

Game 7 - Group B -Tigres UANL vs. América- 7 p.m. CT

Game 8 - Group B -CD Guadalajara vs. Atlas- 9:30 p.m. CT

The sixth edition of InterLiga will be played from January 2-11, 2009 in Dallas, Houston, and Los Angeles, and will determine two Mexican club berths for the prestigious South American Tournament, Copa Libertadores. The other spot known as "Mexico 1" has been awarded to San Luis due to the club's finish as SuperLider of the Mexican Torneo de Apertura 2008 (the regular season champions of the current Mexican season).

Pizza Hut Park serves as the home to Major League Soccer's FC Dallas. Since its inauguration in August 2005, the complex in Frisco has hosted the MLS Cup 2005 and 2006, InterLiga doubleheaders in 2006, 2007 and 2008, and Mexico vs. Ghana in March 2006, among other international events. With 17 championship size soccer fields for the local community leagues, the soccer complex will host its fourth consecutive InterLiga™.
