Worcester Sharks Recall Center Matt Fornataro And Defenseman Michael Wilson From Phoenix

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks General Manager Wayne Thomas announced today that the club has recalled rookie center Matt Fornataro and rookie defenseman Michael Wilson from the Phoenix Road Runners of the ECHL.
Fornataro skated in 21 games with the Road Runners recording 18 points (9-9-18) along with three power play goals and 54 penalty minutes. He started the season with the Worcester Sharks recording one assist in one game played.
The 6-foot, 190 pound rookie center from Calgary, Alberta played in 156 games over the last four seasons at the University of New Hampshire recording 118 points (44-74-118) along with 138 penalty minutes. He also skated with the Syracuse Crunch for one game at the end of last season, scoring his first professional goal.
Wilson skated in 15 games with the Road Runners recording 10 points (2-8-10) along with two power play goals and 14 penalty minutes. He started the season with the Worcester Sharks recording a goal and an assist along with two penalty minutes in five games.
The 6-foot-1, 165 pound rookie defenseman from North Vancouver, British Columbia played in 169 games over the last three seasons for the Swift Current Broncos (WHL) recording 19 goals along with78 assists.
