
D.C. United waives Jeff Carroll

Washington, D.C. (December 1, 2008) - D.C. United announced today the club has waived midfielder Jeff Carroll. The 24-year old made two first team appearances for D.C over three seasons with the club.
"Jeff always represented this club well," said United General Manager Dave Kasper. "We thank him for his efforts and wish him well moving forward."
Carroll was originally drafted in the fourth round (39th overall) of the 2006 MLS SuperDraft and made two appearances (one start) with the first team during his rookie season. He did not play in a first team game during the 2007 or 2008 seasons. Throughout his three seasons with United, Carroll played in 22 reserve games (20 starts), tallying a goal and four assists.
