Kalamazoo Wings News Release

For the second time in a span of 72 hours, the Kalamazoo Wings will travel to the U.S. Cellular Coliseum to battle the Bloomington PrairieThunder. The K-Wings are 2-1-0-0 versus the Thunder, including a 5-3 victory two days ago on Thanksgiving in Bloomington.

Riding an IHL season-high eight-game winning streak, the K-Wings enter tonight's game in sole possession of second place and just one-point behind the Muskegon Lumberjacks for first. Besides the eight-game win streak, the K-Wings are looking to extend a four-game road winning streak.

With their 5-1 victory last night in Muskegon, Bloomington became the first team in eight attempts this season to defeat the Lumberjacks at L.C. Walker Arena. More importantly, the victory coupled with Flint's loss to Kalamazoo puts Bloomington in a fifth place tie with the Generals.
