Austin Spurs News Release
Austin, TX (Nov. 21, 2008) - The Austin Toros waived guard Michael Sturns, forward Isaiah Fox, forward Andrew Francis, and forward Marshall Brown. Forward Mohamed Abukar was also waived due to injury. The Toros training camp roster now stands at 13, including San Antonio Spurs assigned center Ian Mahinmi.
The Toros play their final preseason game against the Colorado 14ers this Saturday, November 22 at 6 p.m. at Bowie High School. Donations to the athletic booster club are encouraged in lieu of an admission fee.
The Toros season opener is Friday, November 28 at 7:30 p.m. against the Utah Flash at the Austin Convention Center.
