Sioux Falls, S.D. (November 21, 2008) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce waived guards Keith Benjamin and Greg Plummer, forward Chris Childress and centers Michael Adams and DeMario Williams today. The active roster now stands at 12 players.

Skyforce players and Skyleaders will make an appearance tonight at the Pizza Ranch at 801 E. Brian St. in Tea, S.D. Players and dance team members will be on hand to promote the preseason game, sign autographs and give away free tickets. Chad McKenzie from 1140 AM KSOO and Jonny V. from Hot 104.7 will be on location doing live remotes from 4-6 p.m.
Pizza Ranch (Tea) will sponsor a preseason game with the Dakota Wizards at Tea Area High School on Saturday night at 7 p.m. Tickets are on now on sale and can be purchased at the high school administrative office. Ticket prices for the game are $25 for courtside seats, $7 for adults, $5 for students and children under five years old will receive free admission. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Tea Area High School athletic programs. Tea Area High School is located at 500 W. Brian Street in Tea.
The home opener is on Friday, Nov. 28 against the Iowa Energy. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Arena. Season tickets and 12-ticket flex packs are on sale for the 2008-09 season.
