
Bulls Acquire Nick Palmieri from Erie

The Belleville Bulls have acquired veteran right winger Nick Palmieri from the Erie Otters. In return, the Bulls sent third and seventh round picks in the 2009 OHL Priority Selection to Erie.
Palmieri is in his fourth OHL season after being selected by Erie in the second round of the 2005 OHL Priority Selection. He has scored seven times while adding five assists and 41 penalty minutes in 18 games played this season. Last year, Palmieri recorded 28 goals along with 18 assists and 122 penalty minutes in 50 games played with the Otters. He also played nine games with the AHL's Lowell Devils, scoring once.
The Clinton, New York native was selected in the third round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. This summer, Palmieri participated in the 2008 U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp along side Bulls Captain Eric Tangradi.
