Zack Werner to Sing National Anthem at Blades Game

The Saskatoon Blades are pleased to announce that Canadian Idol Judge Zack Werner, along with members of his band, Haymaker, will be singing the American and Canadian National Anthems for the upcoming Friday night game against the Everett Silvertips.

Zack has been a judge on CTV's hit show Canadian Idol for all 6 seasons. He has also had a successful career in the music industry as an artist, producer, entertainment lawyer, and manager. Werner is President of Toronto-based Venus Management and Venus Records, where he spends his time finding and developing new talent across Canada. In December 2003, Werner represented Canada in the World Idol competition in London, England.

Zack and members of his band will be signing autographs on the concourse once the doors open at 6 PM. They will also have CD's on hand available for purchase.

Puck drops at 7:05PM as the Blades take on 1st Round NHL Draft pick Kyle Beach and the Everett Silvertips. Tickets can be purchased by calling 938.7800 or by visiting ticketmaster.ca.
