Utah's Verbeek Suspended One Game, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Utah right wing
Tim Verbeek for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of
his actions in ECHL Game #53 at Victoria on Oct. 29.
Verbeek was assessed a game misconduct penalty under Rule 44.5 Checking
from Behind at 13:13 of the third period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and
the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the
ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Verbeek will miss Utah's game at Victoria (Oct. 31).
