River Rats Team Up With Recovery Room Sports Grill

ALBANY, NY - The Albany River Rats announced today that team has reached an agreement with the Recovery Room Sports Grill on New Scotland Avenue in Albany to become the official "Rats On The Road Headquarters."

In conjunction with NeuLion, Inc. - the AHL's official video service provider - the River Rats will be showing all 40 of their 2008-09 regular season road games LIVE at the Recovery Room on their high-definition televisions. Throughout the game fans can enjoy great food and drink specials, all while watching the LIVE NeuLion video & audio feed, featuring the River Rats radio broadcast with play-by-play announcer Owen Newkirk and color analyst John Hennessy.

The first River Rats road game to be shown at the Recovery Room Sports Grill will be on Saturday, October 18th Live from the Arena at Harbor Yard in Connecticut as Albany squares off with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers for a 7:05 pm face off.

Located at 62 New Scotland Avenue in Albany, directly across from Albany Medical Center, the Recovery Room Sports Grill features over 50 HD flat screen TV's for all of your major sports viewing. The Recovery Room Sports Grill is located inside the Hilton Garden Inn at Albany Medical Center and parking is available behind the hotel, off of Holland Avenue.
