Budweiser Flames Forum To Air At Bleacher Bums

Moline, IL- The Quad City Flames announced today that the team's weekly talk show will change locations for the upcoming season. Beginning with the season debut on October 13th, the Flames Forum will be presented by Budweiser and will air live from Bleacher Bums in Davenport. The show can be heard on the flagship station of Flames Hockey, 93.9 FM WYEC, on Monday nights at 6:00 p.m.

During the weekly broadcast, host Aaron Roof will interview Flames coaches and players regarding the previous week's games and the upcoming schedule. Fans in attendance at the show will be eligible to win prizes from the show's title sponsor, Budweiser. Bleacher Bums is located at 3811 North Harrison Street in Davenport.

Flames Forum airs 20 times during the 2008-09 season. Additional broadcasts may be added pending the team's playoff schedule. A complete schedule of broadcasts is listed below:

October 13th and 20th

November 3rd, 17th and 24th

December 1st, 8th, 15th and 29th

January 5th and 12th

February 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd

March 2nd, 16th, 23rd and 30th

April 6th

The Flames are hosting a Season Ticket Pick-Up Party at The Lodge on Tuesday night. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. and lasts until 8:00 p.m. The 2008-09 Flames will be on hand to greet fans and sign autographs.

The regular season kicks off on Friday in Rockford. Game time is 7:30 p.m. The Hayman's Ace Hardware Pre-Game Show will be on 93.9 FM WYEC beginning at 7:05 p.m. The game can also be heard on qcflames.com.

On Saturday, the River of Red returns to the i wireless Center for Opening Night 2008. Fans are encouraged to wear red to welcome the team back to the Quad Cities. The first 6,000 fans in attendance will receive River of Red Rally Towels courtesy of Genesis. Opening Weekend concludes on Sunday with a 5:05 p.m. face-off with the Peoria Rivermen. The first 5,000 fans will receive magnetic schedules.
