
Albano Recalled to Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY (June 28, 2008) - The Salt Lake Bees announced today that the club has recalled right-handed pitcher Marco Albano from single-A Rancho Cucamonga.
Albano, 24, owns a 2-3 record and a 7.05 ERA with 33 strikeouts in 25 games with the Quakes in 2008. His first appearance with the Bees will be his triple-A debut. The Melrose, Mass. native signed with the Angels in 2005, following four years as a utility player at Boston College.
