ROAD WEARY - The Hooks, back from a tough road trip, are set for an eight-game stretch at the friendly confines of Whataburger Field, beginning tonight at 7:05 against Midland. The San Antonio Missions come to town for a four-game series Sunday-Wednesday June 8-11.

Brooks' Buffet, Hooks Road Caps, Team Photos, an appearance by Hall-of-Famer Gaylord Perry and Balloon Rides, benefiting the Miracle League of Corpus Christi are just a few of the highlights awaiting fans. Here's a look at all of the homestand's festivities.

HOT AIR FOR A GOOD CAUSE - Hitch a ride on a hot air balloon and donate to the Miracle League at the same time. This Friday through Sunday, The Mayflower Hot Air Balloon visits Whataburger Field as part of a fundraising effort for the Miracle League of Corpus Christi. The public is invited to ride the balloon between 5-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 4-7 p.m. Sunday in the east parking lot. Cost is $5 with a Hooks ticket and $10 without. Read more.

HAIL TO THE HALL OF FAMER - Hall-of-Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry, who played for the 1959 Corpus Christi Giants, returns to Whataburger Field on Wednesday, June 11, for a special appearance at Whataburger Field. Fans can interact with the baseball legend at a pregame autograph session, presented by your Coastal Bend Chevy Dealers. Here's the complete story.

BEST OF THE BEST - Your vote was heard! Thirty-nine percent of the over 11,000 who voted in Minor League News' survey of the top North American minor league ballparks and arenas picked Whataburger Field as the premier place to catch a game. The Dell Diamond, also operated by Ryan Sanders Baseball, was next in line with 14%. Click here for details.

BRINGIN' IT ALL BACK HOME - The Hooks and Whataburger are teaming up to "Bring Home the W!" Register to raise the "W" flag after a Hooks win on Whataburger Fan Day each Wednesday home game.
