
Bombers Sign Two Quarterbacks

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced today that they have signed quarterbacks Bryan Randall and Cleveland McCoy.
As per team policy, details of the agreement were not provided.
"We're excited to add quarterbacks Randall and McCoy to our training camp roster and watch them compete in camp," said Bomber G.M. Brendan Taman.
Bryan Randall (6-1, 218, Virginia Tech '04, DOB: Aug. 16, 1983 in Charleston, W. VA).
Randall originally entered the NFL on April 29, 2005 with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent. He was on and off Atlanta's practice roster during 2005 and then signed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad on Oct. 10, 2006. He was then released by the Buccaneers on Oct. 10, 2006.
He then signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Feb. 9, 2007 but was later released.
Cleveland McCoy (6-2, 213, South Caroline State '07, DOB: Sept. 25, 1984 in Charleston, SC).
McCoy started two seasons for South Caroline State. In 2007 he started 11 games completing 108 of 212 passes for 12 touchdowns and 1,241 passing yards with 10 interceptions and had a 109.36 passer rating. He rushed for 823 yards and six touchdowns on 129 rushing attempts for an average of 6.4 yards per rushing attempt. He averaged 74.8 rushing yards per game.
