
Stamps Add Defensive Backs

Calgary Stampeders News Release
The Calgary Stampeders have signed free-agent import defensive backs Dwight Ellick, R.J. Cobbs, Brandon Smith and Willie Byrd.
Ellick moved around the National Football League for the past two seasons and spent time with four clubs. He's a product of Notre Dame. Cobbs, who attended Massachusetts, had spells with the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants over the past two seasons.
Byrd (Miles College) and Smith (Sacramento State) have no pro camp experience.
