North Little Rock, AR - RHP David Austen has been sent to Salt Lake City to replace RHP Nick Adenhart, who will make his big league debut tonight as the Angels' starting pitcher against Oakland. Austen held a record of 0-1 in five outing for the Travs with a 4.61 ERA. He was working on a string of 7.2 shutout innings at the time of his promotion. Adenhart, who was 10-8, 3.65 ERA for the 2007 Travs, was called up to the Angels Wednesday night.

Austen, 26, will make his class AAA debut in his first outing with the Bees. He has battled back from a career-threatening shoulder injury that cost him 18 months of rehabilitation. No replacement has been announced by the Angels for Austen on the active Travs roster.

Adenhart, 21, dominated in his five starts at Salt Lake with a 4-0 record and a tiny 0.87 ERA. He will be the third member of the 2007 Travs to make his Major League debut this year along with IF Sean Rodriguez and RHP Darren O'Day.
