
Connecticut Sun Announces Partnership With Ronald McDonald House

UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The Connecticut Sun is pleased to announce the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut as an inaugural member of the Connecticut Sun Community All Stars Program.
The Connecticut Sun Community All Stars Program strives to team up with organizations that share its commitment to youth health, fitness and families. As partners, the Sun will host a dinner at Ronald McDonald House (RMH) for families and volunteers, which will be attended by players and various front office staff.
"I think that this partnership with the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut is an excellent way for us to continue to solidify our commitment to the local community," said Chris Sienko, Connecticut Sun general manager.
This partnership will work to promote the Connecticut Sun's community outreach efforts as well as the RMH's commitment to providing a home-away-from-home for guest families with children undergoing medical treatment at area hospitals. Information about the RMH will be available at the Sun's June 6th home game against Minnesota as well as available on www.connecticutsun.com and www.rmh-ct.org
"The Ronald McDonald House is pleased to partner with the Connecticut Sun in support of the âHouse that Love Built,'" stated Michael Rohde, Director of Development for the House. "We look forward to a mutually rewarding endeavor as we engage with this world class organization."
