Chiefs Rained Out Saturday; DH Sunday

PEORIA, IL- The second game of a three-game weekend series with the Kane County Cougars has been postponed due to rain Saturday. The game will be made up on Sunday as part of a double header beginning at 2:00 PM.

The first game on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 will feature the Chiefs sending RH Zach Ashwood (0-1, 0.00) to the mound against RH Scott Michinson (0-0, 2.25) for Kane County. In game two, Peoria will send RH Ryan Acosta (0-1, 1.50) to the hill against RH Jamie Richmond (1-0, 3.60)

Sunday is also the first Taco Bell Family Fun Day of the season. Fans can visit any Central Illinois Taco Bell and receive a voucher. Fans can then bring the voucher to the O'Brien Field Box Office to redeem it and receive four club box tickets, $20 dollars in concession vouchers, a disposable camera and a picture frame all for $48. Kids 14 and under can run the bases following game two and all fans can get autographs from Chiefs players on the concourse.

Individual, Group and Season ticket packages for the 2008 season are currently on sale. Individual tickets for the rest of the homestand and any 2008 regular season games and can be bought through 1-866-MYTICKET and at the O'Brien Field Box Office. Ticket packages include 70-game package, 35-game package, 17-game package, and a Build Your Own package (minimum 12 games). Group tickets are also on sale for all O'Brien Field party areas and the seating bowl for all 70 home games.
