Taylor Hall Named the OHL Rookie of the Month for March

Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Spitfires Centre Taylor Hall has been named the OHL Rookie of the Month for March. Hall was the top scorer in the OHL last month with 14 goals and 12 assists for 26 points to go along with a plus-3 plus-minus rating in 13 games. He had seven multiple point games in the final month of the regular season, including a four point game (two goals, two assists) against Oshawa on March 4 and a five pointer (four goals, one assist) against Sault Ste. Marie on March 6.

The 17-year-old native of Kingston enjoyed a 12 game point scoring streak and an 11 game goal scoring streak that both ended in March. Hall, the second overall pick in the OHL Priority Selection last May, finished the regular season among the top 20 OHL scorers with 45 goals and 39 assists for 84 points in 63 games.
