Four Game Week for Oilers

Lota Wichita: The Tulsa Oilers play four games this week, three against long time rival the Wichita Thunder. They host Wichita Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.; the Mississippi RiverKings visit Friday at 7:35 p.m.; Wichita is again in on Saturday at 7:35 p.m.; and the Oilers visit Wichita Sunday at 5:05 p.m. Sunday's game can be heard on KRVT AM 1270.

Tough Two: The Oilers dropped two road games last week, losing 4-2 at Mississippi and 8-1 at Oklahoma City.

Starry Night: Warren McCutcheon was the Oilers only representative in the CHL all-star game last Wednesday at Rocky Mountain. McCutcheon had a goal and an assist for the Northern Conference which lost to the South, 11-6.

Still Rollin': Jeff Christian has stretched the current longest point streak in the league to 18 games and has nine goals and 20 assists in that stretch. It is the second longest streak in the CHL this season. David Alexandre Beauregard had his streak end at 14 games. He registered eight goals and 11 assists in his streak, which is the fourth longest in the league this season.

Camo Time: In salute to America's Armed forces, the Oilers will wear special camouflage jerseys on Friday and Saturday night. The jerseys will be auctioned following the game Saturday night. In addition, Blue Star Mothers will be on hand both nights, accepting donations for care packages to be sent overseas to troops.
