Lugnuts Playoff Tickets Go On-Sale This Saturday

LANSING - The Lansing Lugnuts are pleased to announce that tickets for the Midwest League playoffs will go on-sale to the general public Saturday, September 1 at 10:00 a.m. The Lugnuts have qualified for the Midwest League playoffs and will host a first round game September 5th against the West Michigan Whitecaps.

Although tickets will go on-sale to the general public September 1, Lugnuts' season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase seats all week in advance of Saturday.

This will be the ninth appearance for Lansing in the Midwest League playoffs since joining the circuit in 1996. In that time, Lansing has played in three championship series, twice taking the Midwest League crown in 1997 and 2003.

This season the Lugnuts are 71-60, including a 36-26 mark in the second half. Lansing has also posted a stellar home record this season at 40-23.

Playoff tickets range from $7-$9 and can be purchased three ways: at the Oldsmobile Park box office, online at www.lansinglugnuts.com, or by calling (517) 485-4500.
