
Ryan Howard Returns To Lakewood

2006 National League MVP and 2002 Lakewood BlueClaws first baseman Ryan Howard will have a rehab assignment at FirstEnergy Park May 23rd and 24th. While with the BlueClaws during the 2002 season, Howard hit .280 with 19 home runs and 87 RBIs. Howard, a 5th round pick out of Southwest Missouri State (now Missouri State) in 2001, is 2nd all-time on the BlueClaws home run list.
Seats are still available for all games during the May 21-June 3 homestand.
May 23rd's game begins at 11:05 a.m., and the first 2,000 fans will receive Oversized Baseball Cards, thanks to the Asbury Park Press and Harrogate. May 24th, a 6:35 p.m. game, will feature the BlueClaws first ever Concert Ticket Extravaganza, where fans can win tickets to various area concerts, including The Police, Southside Johnny, Def Leppard, and a grand prize of two tickets to Live Earth at Giants Stadium.
