Tri-City Storm News Release

KEARNEY - The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League announced on Tuesday that defenseman Scott Fletcher must report to the Mississauga Ice Dogs of the Ontario Hockey League.

Fletcher, who joined the Storm on Nov. 16, was on loan to the Storm from the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL. Prior to the OHL's trading deadline tomorrow, Saginaw sent Fletcher's rights to Mississauga. The Ice Dogs have asked Fletcher to report immediately. Mississauga is located in Ontario, Canada.

"This is an unfortunate deal for us. Scott was on loan from Saginaw and while you are hoping he'll be here all year the terms said they could move him prior to Jan. 10," said Tri-City head coach Bliss Littler. "Scott did a nice job for us in the time he played here."

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Fletcher recorded two goals and two assists and 56 penalty minutes in his Storm career.
