
IceDogs Unveil Mask Design Contest Winners

Mississauga, Ont. (October 13, 2006) - The IceDogs are pleased to announce that they will be unveiling the winners of their mask design contest this evening. The initiative, which was introduced last March, was sponsored by ITECH Hockey and Gilders Design, produced one winner from a 12 years and younger category and a 13 years and older group.
The masks were painted by Gilders Design. The winners, Mississauga's Michael Borrow and Tyler Harrison, will be provided with their copies in an on-ice ceremony prior to tonight's game. The other two masks will be autographed by the team and auctioned off on October 27. Fans can view them at an IceDogs table along the concourse beginning this evening.
The IceDogs host the Belleville Bulls tonight at 7:30 pm. Then, they visit the Owen Sound Attack tomorrow night at 7:30 pm before returning to the Hershey Centre to battle the Peterborough Petes on Sunday afternoon at 2 pm.
Individual game tickets can be purchased through the team's office, by calling Ticketmaster at 416-872-5000, online at www.ticketmaster.ca or by stopping by the Hershey Centre box office during regular business hours.
Derrik Gilders, owner of Gilders Design, which is based out of London, Ontario, has been changing the appearance of goalie masks for the past eight years. Gilders clients include teams in the National Hockey League, East Coast Hockey League, Canadian Hockey League and NCAA.
