HALIFAX, N.S., Sept. 27, 2006 - The Eastern Division teams of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League have announced a program that encourages attending games in each others' venues during the 2006-07 season.

Known as the "Ambassador Program", the initiative gives season ticket holders an opportunity to purchase up to two tickets per visit to a regular season game in an out-of-town Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) community for only $10 each.

The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, PEI Rocket, Lewiston MAINEiacs, Moncton Wildcats, Saint John Sea Dogs, St. John's Fog Devils and the Halifax Mooseheads are all participating in the program.

"The support of our season ticket holders is tremendous and we recognize they are a critical backbone of support for our Hockey Club," said Don Power, Chief Operating Officer. "This loyalty program is yet another way of rewarding them for their commitment to Mooseheads hockey."

Power noted that players appreciate having support from their fans when on the road. "Hopefully this loyalty program will encourage more of our fans to visit other arenas to cheer on the Moose."

Halifax Mooseheads season ticket holders who wish to participate in the loyalty program can pick up their special Ambassador Program vouchers by visiting the Mooseheads Season Ticket Office and showing their season ticket holder cards. This offer is only available to season ticket holders.

The Mooseheads next home game is this coming Friday at 7 p.m. when they host the Saint John Sea Dogs.
