HEADLINES: Webster stays on fire ... Guzman with another steal ... Lee starts tonight
TODAY'S OPPONENT: The Albuquerque Isotopes are the Triple-A affiliate of the Florida Marlins. They have been a member of the Pacific Coast League since 2003 when the team moved to Albuquerque from Calgary. Last year they were 78-66 and finished second in the AC South.
TODAY'S GAME: The RedHawks continue their four-game road trip in Albuquerque. This is their last series of the season.
LAST GAME: The RedHawks scored four runs in the first inning, but lost 11-6 to Albuquerque. Three Albuquerque relievers combined for 3.2 scoreless and hitless innings. The RedHawks were again led offensively by Anthony Webster, who went three-for-five with a double and an RBI. In his last three games, Webster is 9-for-13 (.692) with two doubles, a triple and two RBIs.
VS. ALBUQUERQUE: The RedHawks are 53-45 all-time against Albuquerque/Calgary since 1998 and 35-27 against them since they moved to Albuquerque in 2003. The RedHawks are 14-16 at Isotopes Park .
PITCHING MATCHUP: Starting pitcher Derek Lee makes his 23rd start of the season for the RedHawks. He is 6-9 with a 4.10 ERA (56 ER/123 IP) as a starter and 0-2 with a 3.29 ERA (5 ER/13.2 IP) in six relief outings. He is 1-8 with a 6.50 ERA (45 ER/62.1 IP) in 14 road games and 5-3 with a 1.94 ERA (16 ER/74.1 IP) in 14 home games. In two starts at Isotopes Park, he is 0-0 with a 15.12 ERA (14 ER/8.1 IP) and two homers allowed. Lefty Chris George starts for Albuquerque.
SHUTOUTS: The RedHawks are tied for first in the PCL in shutouts with 12. Round Rock and Nashville also have 12. The 12 shutouts by the RedHawks is a club record. The RedHawks have also been shut out a club-record 10 times this season.
TEAM ERA: The RedHawks' team ERA is 3.86 (529 ER/1233.2 IP). The lowest team ERA in club history was 4.21 in 2003. The 2003 team finished eighth in the PCL in ERA. This year's team is currently fourth.
CLOSE GAMES: Sixty-two of Oklahoma 's 73 wins this season have come by four runs or less, including 33 one-run wins. Also, 52 of Oklahoma's 69 losses this season have come by four runs or less, including 19 by one run.
ONE-RUN WINS: The RedHawks lead the PCL in one-run wins with 33. Tucson is second with 27.
BRICKTOWN SHOWDOWN: The Triple-A Championship Game will be played at 6:05 p.m. Sept. 19 at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. It will feature the champions of the PCL and IL.
DOT-DOT-DOTS: The RedHawks are 62-46 since Mike Boulanger took over as manager May 11 ... The RedHawks are 2-8 in the first game of a road trip with both wins coming against Omaha ... The RedHawks have lost nine of their last 11 series openers ... RedHawk pitchers are tied for first in the PCL in complete games with Nashville at eight ... RedHawk batters are tied for 15th in the PCL with 96 home runs. New Orleans also has 96 ... OF Freddy Guzman leads the league in stolen bases with 42.
