
Hitmen ready to shave their heads for cancer fundraiser

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen are teaming up with Cops for Cancer to help raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society. Immediately following Friday's game against the Regina Pats at least six Hitmen will take to center ice for grooming.
Captain Brett Carson will lead a charge that includes Kris Deines, Dylan Yeo, Brett Sonne, Alex Plante and Ryan Letts. Teammates Justin Pogge and Jeff Schultz have already announced they will be donating 250 dollars each toward this great cause in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.
Fans attending the game will also be able to help support the Canadian Cancer Society. Cops for Cancer will have tables set up on the concourse collecting donations. Any donation of 10 dollars or more will receive a tax receipt.
Puck drops at 7 p.m. Friday night in Pengrowth Saddledome. For Tickets call Ticketmaster 777-0000.
