Braves Make Additional Roster Moves

Rome Emperors News Release

Rome, GA â The Rome Braves have placed pitcher Johnnie Wiggins in Orlando at extended spring training camp. Wiggins was 0-1 with a 10.50 ERA in 12 relief appearances. Joining the Rome club is pitcher Jason Paul from Orlando. Paul, a right-hander, pitched in Danville of the Appalachian League last season with a record of 2-2 and a 5.65 in 17 relief appearances.

Also joining the club from Orlando is infielder Mark Jurich. In 2004, Jurich hit .281 in Danville with 16 homers and 47 RBI.
