Phillies affiliate and WWE superstars coming to Trenton next Friday

The WWE's Tazz and Dawn Marie will be at Waterfont Park for the game on Friday, April 23. Tazz has been a World Wrestling Entertainment Superstar since 1999 and is originally from Brooklyn, NY. Dawn Marie joined the WWE in 2002 and lives in Woodbridge, NJ. The pair will be on hand for autographs and photographs on the concourse during the game. The Thunder will take on the Double A Affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies starting at 7:05. Tickets are available.

#9 NASCAR RACING CAR ON DISPLAY JUNE 13 June 13 vs. New Hampshire 1:35

The Cottman Transmissions #9 NASCAR Racing Car driven on the Nextel Cup Circuit by Jeff Burton will be on display at Waterfront Park on June 13. Burton has made two starts in the #9 car this season including a second place finish at the Diamond Hill Plywood Co. 200 at Darlington Raceway on March 20. The car on display at Waterfront Park will be a real test car used by the Burton racing team and will be accompanied by video racing simulators where fans will be able to race for a chance to win a trip to the NASCAR race in Atlanta on October 30.

LASER SHOW TO FOLLOW AUGUST 13th GAME

The Thunder will host a post game Laser Show to the schedule for Friday, August 13. The night will also feature an Instant Lottery Ticket Giveaway from the NJ Lottery, a performance by Dancing Christopher and a group sleepover on the field.

THUNDER FALL IN NEW HAMPSHIRE'S HOME OPENER

(Manchester, NH)- Dustin McGowan and three relievers held Trenton to fou singles in a 2-0 shutout win for the Fisher Cats on Thursday night. It was New Hampshire's home opener and first professional game in Manchester since 1971.

McGowan (2-0) allowed all four Trenton hits in his five shutout innings. He walked one and struck out six. The Trenton hits were by Mitch Jones and J.T. Stotts (2nd Inning), Ferdin Tejeda (3rd Inning) and Aaron Rifkin (4th Inning). Brandon League, Kevin Frederick and Adam Peterson closed out the shutout with four hitless innings of relief.
