
Zarb Traded To Johnstown

Atlanta Gladiators News Release
The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have traded defenseman Chris Zarb to the Johnstown Chiefs of the American Conference East Division in exchange for future considerations.
Zarb appeared in six games with the Gladiators this season, recording three assists and four penalty minutes. Last season, the 6'4" Waterford, Michigan native played in 37 games with the Mississippi Sea Wolves and also appeared in four games with the Philadelphia Phantoms of the AHL.
Zarb was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the fifth round with the 144th overall pick in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He played two seasons with the Tri-City Storm of the USHL and three seasons at Ferris State University before making his pro debut in 2008.
The Gladiators continue their 7th season in the ECHL on Friday, November 13th vs. South Carolina at 7:35 p.m. The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and Columbus Blue Jackets and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
