
Young and Nogowski Go Deep in Sens' 9-4 Loss

Andrew Young hit a game tying two-run home run in the seventh inning, but Hartford rallied for five of their own in the last of the seventh to beat the Sens 9-4. Harrisburg scored first on Nogowski's home run. Sens starter Luis Reyes held Hartford at bay until the hit two home runs of their own in the fifth to take a 4-1 lead.
Luis Reyes started and went five innings and allowed four runs on six hits, facing 23 batters. He was on the hook for the loss before the Senators rallied in the seventh to tie the game. Reid Schaller followed and took the loss. He pitched a scoreless sixth before allowing four runs in the seventh. Alberto Guerrero came in with one out in the seventh and allowed the two runners he inherited to score plus he allowed his own run to score. Brian Gonzalez pitched the eighth and didn't allow a run.
The Senators had just five hits, two of them home runs. Young's two run home run to tie the game in the seventh and Nogowski's solo home run in the fourth to give the Sens a 1-0 lead. Justin Connell doubled and scored in the game.
The Sens home run streak reached nine straight games with their dingers Saturday night. The Yard Goats have taken both series against Harrisburg this season. The Senators stranded just two runners Saturday night. Hartford had 16 at bats with runners in scoring position.
