Down to their final out, Matt Padgett tied the game in dramatic fashion with a homerun in the bottom of the ninth, and Tom Collaro plated Kennard Jones with the winning run on an infield hit in the tenth inning, as the York Revolution pulled out a wild 7-6 come-from-behind win over the Somerset Patriots, in front of 6,791 fans at Sovereign Bank Stadium on Saturday night. It was the third largest crowd of the season, and fourth largest in Sovereign Bank Stadium history. The Revs have now won back-to-back games, and will look to take all three in Sunday's finale at 5 p.m.

The four-hour epic lacked any rhythm early on, as each team slugged it out, yet missed chances to pull away. York grabbed an early lead on four first inning walks by Patriots starter Clint Nageotte, but could not come up with a hit. The Revs also left the bases loaded in the second inning, despite receiving two more walks.

Somerset took a 3-1 lead in the second, as Joe Burke ripped a two-run double, and scored on a wild pitch. Jeff Nettles made it 4-1 in the third on an opposite field single to right-center.

The Revs came back with a three-spot to tie it in the third. A double by Kala Ka'aihue and two errors set the table, and Luis Taveras cashed in with a ground single to left, earning an RBI. Jones followed with an RBI groundout, and Keoni DeRenne tied it with a single to right.

Somerset grabbed a 5-4 lead in the fifth, as Burke picked up another RBI on a fielder's choice. A bases loaded walk to Teuris Olivares in the sixth made it a 6-4 game.

Revs relievers held the fort from there, giving the offense a chance. Travis Phelps celebrated his birthday with a 1-2-3 seventh, Chris Britton fired a scoreless eighth, and Bob Zimmermann (3-1) worked two perfect innings, earning the win in the process.

The Revs pulled within one in the bottom of the eighth. Reliever Jared Gothreaux had retired eight-in-a-row until Taveras rapped a leadoff single to left. DeRenne then doubled into the left field corner off lefty Brian Henderson, putting runners at second and third with only one out. P.J. Rose nearly tied it, but had to settle for just one RBI as Olivares made a diving stop on a hard grounder at first base for the second out, and reliever Ryan Basner induced a groundout to strand DeRenne at third, but the Revs would rebound to still tie it in the ninth.

Closer Brett Prinz struck out the first two to begin the ninth inning, but Padgett stepped in and crushed the first pitch onto Ollie's Cheap Seats, the lawn in right-center at Sovereign Bank Stadium, tying the game in dramatic fashion.

Jones then led off the tenth with an infield hit, and advanced to second on a throwing error by second baseman Matt Hagen. DeRenne sacrificed Jones to third, and after an intentional walk to Rose, Collaro punched a broken bat infield hit between the mound and shortstop, with Jones sliding across the plate ahead of an errant throw, sparking an on-field celebration with York's fourth walk-off victory of the season.
