York Revolution News Release

Tonight's scheduled doubleheader between the York Revolution and the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at Sovereign Bank Stadium has been postponed due to rain. The action was called in the bottom of the third inning of the first game with Southern Maryland leading 1-0. Stats will not count, and the game will be replayed in its entirety. It is the Revs' third rainout in the last four days.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader beginning Thursday morning at 11 a.m. at Sovereign Bank Stadium. The teams will play two 7-inning games back-to-back, with a 30-minute break in between.

The fourth game of the series will be made up at Southern Maryland's Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf, MD at a date and time to be determined. The game cannot be made up in York, because the Blue Crabs do not return to York until the second half of the Atlantic League season.

Tickets from tonight's games will be valid for any other home game during the 2009 season based on availability. Exchanges can be made in person at the Apple Chevy Ticket Office at Sovereign Bank Stadium.
