Yard Dawgz welcome special coin toss participants

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz announced today that Brigadier General (select) Joseph F. Mudd Jr. from Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City and Brigadier General Paul D. Costilow from the Oklahoma Army National Guard will be flipping the coin this Saturday when the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz take on the Bossier-Shreveport Battlewings.

Brigadier General (select) Joseph F. Mudd Jr. is the Commander of the 552nd Air Control Wing at Tinker Air Force Base. As commander, Mudd is responsible for Air Combat Command's fleet of E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System Aircraft and for supporting combatant commanders worldwide. The colonel leads approximately 4,000 men and women and manages resources that include 32 aircraft valued at $9.6 billion.

Brigadier General Paul D. Costilow is the Assistant Adjutant General of the Oklahoma Army National Guard. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1968 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma's ROTC program. He began his military career on active duty as Aviation Platoon Leader for the 243rd Aviation Company, Republic of Vietnam.

The Yard Dawgz are saluting all military personnel this weekend for the hard work that they do for our country. All military personnel at the game will be recognized and there will be a special induction ceremony for Air Force military personnel during half time of the game.

YARD DAWGZ NOTES: The Yard Dawgz (2-4) return home this Saturday, May 21st to face the Bossier-Shreveport Battlewings (2-5)...Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Ford Center...This weekend is military night with the Yard Dawgz...Anyone with a military ID will receive $4 off any ticket...The Yard Dawgz and OG&E are also giving away FREE battery- operated light-up fans.
