OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz travel to take on the Quad City Steamwheelers this Saturday night May 28th. The Yard Dawgz are coming off of a great defensive game against the Bossier- Shreveport Battlewings, whom the Dawgz defeated 52-17.
The highlight of the night was the Yard Dawgz defensive unit, who produced three interception returns for touchdowns to lead the charge. Rickie Davis picked off two passes, one that he returned for a touchdown to earn ADT Defensive Player of the Game honors.
The Dawgz are looking forward to the rematch this weekend with the Quad City Steamwheelers, who defeated the Yard Dawgz 61-43 at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City on April 23rd. Matt Forbes who returned two interceptions for touchdowns in the first meeting with the Dawgz led the Steamwheelers.
YARD DAWGZ NOTES: The Yard Dawgz will return home for two consecutive games on June 4th versus the Rio Grande Valley Dorados and on June 11th to face the Amarillo Dusters...Tickets are now available and you may view a seating map at www.okcyarddawgz.com.
