Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz News Release
Looking for their first win of the season, the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz will travel to South Texas to take on the Corpus Christi Sharks, Saturday, April 14th, at the American Bank Center. 2007 marks the Sharks first season in arenafootball2.
With a second week bye, the Yard Dawgz have had two weeks to prepare for their game against the Sharks. The extended preparation time has given the Yard Dawgz and Head Coach John Fitzgerald confidence that they will win their first game of the season.
"Our season opening loss at Florida left a bad taste in our mouths," commented Fitzgerald. "We've had two weeks to prepare and we're ready for Corpus Christi and our first win of 2007."
The Sharks were defeated in their season opener by the Rio Grande Valley Dorados, with a final score of 68-22.
All Yard Dawgz games will be broadcast live on KTOK AM1000 and online at www.ktok.com.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. CST.
