Texas Copperheads News Release

HOUSTON - If the 250-mile trek to Shreveport sounds too treacherous to catch the Texas Copperheads' second game of its inaugural season live, fans won't have to wait until after the game to catch the action.

Instead, they can just logon to their computers.

The 7 p.m. kickoff against the No. 16 Bossier-Shreveport Battlewings will be carried by Bossier City radio station KWKH-1130 AM through its Web site at www.kwkhonline.com.

KWKH is a classic country music radio station serving Shreveport, La. The 50-kilowatt station is owned by Clear Channel Communications and is the local affiliate of the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers.

In the mid-1950s, it was one of the first radio stations to feature the music of Elvis Presley on its long-running Louisiana Hayride program.

"We are thankful when we received the call from KWKH about the live feed for the game and a special thanks to Darrell Rebouche of the Battlewings for his help in this project," said J. Ronald Oswalt, the Copperheads media director.

For more information on the affiliate and media request for post-game story and action photos, contact Oswalt at 832-754-7666.

Tickets for the remaining seven home games at the Richard E. Berry Center may also be purchased by calling 888-897-FANG, 281-392-5592 or by visiting www.texascopperheads.com.

Corporate sponsorship opportunities and group rates of 25 tickets or more are available by calling Gary Saunders, the team's general manager, at 888-897-FANG.
