APPLETON, Wis. â The Midwest League baseball game between the Battle Creek Yankees and the Wisconsin Timber Ratters scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Fox Cities Stadium was postponed by rain. The two teams will play a double-header â two seven-inning games â starting at 6:05 p.m. EDT Monday. The Yankees then return home and start an eight-game homestand on Tuesday night.
It is the 11th scheduled double-header for the Yankees this season. Four of those double-headers were postponed by poor weather conditions; Battle Creek has a 6-6 record in double-header games played.

Wednesday â WIN 98.5 Winning WINsday (Guaranteed victory! If the Yankees win, fans win a free Coke at a future game. If the Yankees lose, fans receive a free ticket to the next Wednesday game.) Special School Days noon start time.
Thursday â Thirsty Thursday ($1 pop and beer).
Friday â Patriots Night. Post-game fireworks.

Saturday â T-shirt Night. The first 1,000 fans will receive Battle Creek Yankees T-shirts.
Sunday â Family Fun Day. Clown around and enjoy face-painting fun before and during the game. After the game, take the field to play catch, run the bases, and more; weather permitting. It's also Burnham Brook Center Senior Sunday, with half-price general admission tickets for seniors 55-over. It's also our second Knothole Gang game of the season.
Monday â Food Bank Monday (two non-perishable food items are good for one general admission ticket, with all food donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of South Central Michigan). We have collected 773 pounds of food so far this season.
Tuesday â Kent Quality Foods Two-fer Tuesday (2-for-1 tickets and 2-for-1 hot dogs).
