X's Play Host To Briar Cliff Chargers Tonight

SIOUX CITY - Your hometown Sioux City Explorers will kick off thier 2010 exhibition schedule tonight with a 7:05 PM game at Lewis & Clark Park versus the Briar Cliff Chargers. Make sure to come out and cheer on the Explorers and Chargers when the gates open at 6 PM. As a special promotion, anyone that purchases a ticket for tonights game will receive a FREE ticket of equal or lesser value to the X's home opener on May 21st versus the newly named Fighting Pheasants from Sioux Falls.
The X's will continue thier exhibition schedule tomorrow (Tuesday, May 4th) when they travel to Yankton, SD to take on Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD with game time set for 7:00 PM. After two days of practice on Wednesday and Thursday, the X's will welcome the Fargo Moorehead Redhawks to Lewis & Clark park this Friday (May 7th) for a 7:05 PM exhibition game. The following day (Saturday, May 8th) the X's will head back to the State of South Dakota for a 2:00 PM exhibition game in Huron, SD versus the Sioux Falls Fighting Pheasants.
The team will practice on the 9th and will head to the Lone Star State the morning of the 10th and play their final exhibition game in El Paso, TX versus the Diablo's on the 11th and will practice in El Paso on the 12th before opening up the 2010 regular season in El Paso on the 13th of May. After a (4) game series in El Paso, the X's will travel to Grand Prairie for a three game series before returning home for thier May 21st home opener versus the Sioux Falls Fighting Pheasants with a post game fireworks show to follow the 2010 home opener.
