X's Begin Regular Season Tomorrow, Home Opener Set for Friday May 20th

Your hometown Sioux City Explorers will officially kick off the 2011 regular season tomorrow night when they play game one of a scheduled four game series versus the Fort Worth Cats in Fort Worth, TX. After four games in Fort Worth, the X's will travel to Shreveport, LA to play a rare three games in 24 hours with game one on the 16th beginning at 10:00 am followed by a 7:00 pm night game and then quickly turnaround and play another 10:00 am game the morning of the 17th.
The X's will then travel home and have the 18th and 19th off before the 2011 home opener at Lewis & Clark Park on Friday, May 20th with the first pitch set for 7:05 pm. On Friday, May 20th it's Magnet Schedule Giveaway night presented by Great Southern Bank with a post game FIREWORKS show to follow the game.
The X's will host the Fort Worth Cats on May 20th - May 22nd at Lewis & Clark Park before the Grand Prairie Airhogs invade Lewis & Clark Park for a three game series starting Monday� May 23rd. All (100) games in 2011 may be heard live on KSCJ 1360 or via the X's website at www.xsbaseball.com.
Tickets for the X's 2011 opening series versus the Cats and Airhogs are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 712-277-9467 or by stopping down to the Lewis & Clark Park stadium box office.
In 2011, fans have the opportunity to enjoy X's baseball all season long for LESS with individual ticket prices being lowered for all seating levels. Individual game Box seats have been reduced from $14 down to only $11 with Reserve Seats being lowered from $12 down to only $9 and General Admission ticket prices have been slashed 50% from $10 down to only $5 in 2011.
Groups of 20 or more qualify for discounted ticket prices, so gather your friends and family or business clients or employee's and bring them out to Lewis & Clark Park this summer to take advantage of lower rates.
